Frequently Asked Questions
How are showers delivered?
Our portable showers are delivered by truck and unloaded using a small Hiab crane. The crane has a reach of approximately 3 metres, allowing us to lift toilets over fences, bushes and other obstacles where required (subject to no overhead obstructions).
Where is the best location to position a portable shower?
The best location for your portable shower is on a firm, level surface, close to a garden tap and with easy access for our delivery truck.
If the ground isn’t perfectly level, we will use chocks to safely level the shower.
Are there any requirements for the shower’s water source
Yes. The shower needs to be connected to either:
• A garden tap connected to town water or
• Pump supplied tank water.
The instant gas hot water system requires a minimum water flow rate to ignite. Gravity-fed tank water does not provide adequate flow for ignition.

How is the water heated in portable shower?
Our portable showers are fitted with a Bosch instant gas hot water system, providing hot water on demand without the need for a storage tank.
The system heats the water as it flows through the unit, providing a reliable supply of hot water for you to enjoy.
Can I use my own gas for the shower?
Yes, absolutely.
Our portable showers use LPG, the same type of gas commonly used for a BBQ.
Please be aware that LPG bottles can have two different types of connections. With the exception of one unit, our showers use an internal threaded connection.
If you’re planning to use your own gas bottle, please check that your cylinder has a compatible connection. If you’re unsure, just ask us and we’re here to help.
Where does the shower’s grey water go?
The showers have a waste hose attached, which carries the grey water away from the shower. The hose should be directed into a drain or garden area.
