How are toilets delivered?
Our portable toilets are delivered by truck and unloaded using a small Hiab crane.
The crane has a reach of approximately 3 metres, allowing us to lift toilets over fences, bushes and other obstacles where required (subject to no overhead obstructions).
How often do portable toilets require waste pumping?
Our portable toilets require waste pumping after approximately 650 uses.
Each toilet has a 390-litre waste tank, which collects waste, flushing water and water from hand washing. The frequency of pumping varies depending on the number of users and how frequently the toilet is used.
What happens when the toilet is full?
There’s no need to worry – we offer an onsite pump and clean service to keep your portable toilet fresh, clean and ready to use.
A good indication that your toilet is getting very full is when the floor starts to feel spongy underfoot. If you notice this, it’s time to book a pump out without delay.
Our pump and clean service includes removing the waste, cleaning the toilet and restocking it with the essentials, so it’s ready to use again.

Are the same toilets used for events as are used for construction sites?
Our portable toilets are graded according to their age, condition and presentation, with our newest and best-presented toilets reserved specifically for events.
This ensures our event customers receive toilets that are our newest and best presented — because we know presentation matters.
How many portable toilets do I need for an event?
The number of portable toilets required depends on several factors, including the number of guests, the mix of men and women, event duration and whether alcohol is being served.
As a general guide for an event with 100 guests:
• 3 toilets – our recommended starting point for a typical 4–8 hour event with a reasonably even mix of men and women.
• 4 toilets – recommended for longer events, where food and alcohol is being served and events with a higher proportion of ladies.
